Luxcel Bioscience to host Practical Session at Consortium for Mitochondrial Research – University College London (April 20-25th 2015)
Principles of Mitochondrial Biology, Metabolism and Bio-energetics in Health and Disease
Luxcel Biosciences will host a series of practical sessions at the upcoming Consortium for Mitochondrial Research in University College London from the 20th – 25th April 2015. The course is designed primarily for PhD students and post docs but will also cater for more established academics seeking a deeper understanding of mitochondrial biology. Each day will start and end with introductory lectures, including guest research lectures and theoretical techniques orientated talks (see Full Program). The afternoons will consist of practical workshops and demonstrations (see Practical Sessions). All workshops will be held in labs on the main UCL campus within easy reach of the lecture theatre. Hands on demonstrations/workshops will be run by UCL personnel, by guests and by Industrial partners from the represented companies (see Sponsors).
Workshops will be open only to registered participants. Participant numbers on the practical course will be restricted to 50 (see Registration for details). We offer a bursary of to support students whose abstracts are selected for presentations
